Corso Dottorato - Strategies and challenges of Structural Health Monitoring for design and maintenance of composite structures
Electric vehicle: problems of setting, style and packaging innovations
Lecturer:
Vittorio Memmolo, Ph.D.
Post-doctoral Research Fellow at Department of Industrial Engineering, Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II
Goals and topics:
This course provides a brief introduction on structural health monitoring (SHM) methodologies adopted on composite structures. As natural evolution of non-destructive techniques (NDT), the main differences will be outlined and the challenges of SHM within aerospace design and maintenance fields will be discussed. Using key studies and by means of practical experience, the potentialities of guided wave based SHM will be deeply analyzed.
Final evaluation:
Discussion concerning the laboratory experience or team project.
